The deal, in plain words

Terms

Last updated: July 25, 2026

These are the terms for buying and using Build Season. Buying means you agree to them and to the refund policy. They are written to be read — if a line here looks like a trick, email and ask before you pay.

What you're buying

Each Build Season season is a self-paced course: written, step-by-step missions that walk you through building one working tool for your business. It is delivered digitally on this site, and it opens as soon as your payment goes through. Nothing physical ships. There is no live coaching, no done-for-you service, and no software that we host and rent to you.

Your purchase is one-time. There is no subscription, nothing recurring, and nothing to cancel — you will never be charged again for a season you bought.

Season 0 is free: no payment, and no login here. You will set up a free Claude account inside it, which is the point of that season. The seasons that are open for purchase are marked as such on the site; the rest are listed as opening later and are not for sale yet. Buying one season does not include the others.

Access is personal. One purchase is for one person — use it on your own devices, but don't share it, resell it, or hand it to someone else.

Lifetime access means for as long as we operate Build Season. Not a fixed number of years, and not a promise nobody could keep. If we ever shut the product down, we will say so by email to the address you bought with and give you a window to download the season materials you paid for.

How access works

There is no username and no password. When your payment clears, your access is recorded in the browser you bought in, and the season pages open for you from then on.

The moment your payment clears we also show you a permanent link that puts your access back on any phone or computer — new phone, cleared browser, bought inside one app and came back in another. Save that link, and keep any email we send you carrying it. If you lose it, email us from the address you bought with and we will send it to you again.

You need to be 18 or older

Build Season is sold to adults running or starting a business. Don't buy it for a minor.

Your accounts, your bills, your work

Everything you build, you build on your own accounts — your own Claude account, your own Google account, and any other tool a season names. Those accounts are between you and those companies, under their terms, and you pay them directly. We never take a cut, never handle your money, and never contact your customers.

Seasons 0 through 4 are built around free tiers of everyday apps, so as of today they run with no monthly bill. That is those companies' pricing, not something we can promise on their behalf — check what a tool costs when you sign up for it.

What you build is yours. We claim no ownership of your documents, your data, your customers, or anything you make with what you learned. Use it in your business however you want.

Other companies' screens change — here's what we do about it

The missions walk you step by step through other companies' products, and those companies redesign things without telling us. We maintain the seasons and update steps when a screen moves, but we don't control those products and can't promise a screen will look identical on the day you sit down.

When a step doesn't match what you see, that is our problem to fix. Every step has a Stuck? panel, and the email address below reaches a person. That is the deal, and it is why the address is on every single step.

What you can't do with the content

The missions, screenshots, templates and prompts are ours. Don't republish them, resell them, post them, feed them into another course or product, or share your access.

Using what you learned in your own business — including showing your own crew how you did it — is fine and expected. Copying the lessons and handing them out is not.

If someone is redistributing the content or sharing access, we can end that access without a refund. We will tell them why first.

Education — not advice, and not a promise about your business

Build Season is an education program — not a business opportunity, not a service, not software you rent from us. No income promises, ever: what these tools do for your business depends on your business.

The seasons teach you to draft real documents — quotes, invoices, terms lines, customer messages. That is not legal, tax, accounting, insurance, or financial advice. What you produce is yours, sent under your judgment and your state's rules. Anything binding — deposits, late fees, cancellation terms, contracts — check it with someone licensed in your state before it goes out.

AI gets things wrong. Every season teaches you to check the work before it leaves your hands, and that check stays your job, permanently.

Refunds

There is one refund policy, it is published, and it is part of these terms. Read it before you buy. Short version: 14 days, requested by email, and after that the sale is final.

Read the refund policy

As-is, and the limit of what we owe you

The seasons are provided as they are. We don't warrant that they are error-free, that a third-party tool will behave, or that following them will produce any particular result for your business.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to Build Season is limited to the amount you actually paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost work, lost data, lost time, or anything a third-party tool does or fails to do. Some states don't allow certain limits; where that is the case, the limit is whatever that state allows.

Where we sell

Prices are in US dollars, and Build Season is set up for buyers in the United States. We are not set up to handle sales tax or VAT outside the US, so please don't buy from outside the country yet. If a purchase does come in from outside the US, we may refund it in full and ask you to stop using the material rather than sell where we aren't set up.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the state listed under Seller details at the top of this page, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute about them belongs in the state or federal courts there.

If these terms change

We can update them. The date at the top changes when we do, and the current version always lives on this page.

Changes are not retroactive. They don't take away access to a season you already bought, and they don't change the refund policy that applied when you bought it.

Questions

Email us. A real person reads it, and we would rather answer a question than take money from someone who isn't sure.
