Why first answers disappoint

Ask a thin question, get a thin answer. That's not the machine being dumb — that's the machine not knowing the job.

Today you learn the pattern that fixes it, then you run it on your own business. This is the skill everything else builds on.

The job sheet

A good job for Claude has three parts, same as a good work order:

WHO you are. WHAT you want. WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE.

Miss one and it fills the gap with guesses. Give all three and it works like it's been on your crew for a month.

The worked example

A customer texts you: 'hey when u coming to fix the gutter'. You could wing a reply — or hand Claude the job sheet:

'I run a small gutter and roofing outfit. A customer texted: hey when u coming to fix the gutter. Write my reply: friendly, professional, two sentences, offer Thursday morning, ask them to confirm.'

Who you are. What you want. What good looks like. All three, one message.
